Turnkey faced many of the same challenges most companies run into after launching, finding product market fit, and scaling quickly...the books were a mess.
The financials were being managed with a combination of Freshbooks, spreadsheets, and the help of a traditional CPA. The primary issue, in this case, was that the CPA was looking at things from an accounting perspective only, not an operational one. They didn’t have solutions to track invoices, expenses, and bill pay.
Turnkey needed to take the next step, clean up their books, and get things in order for tax season.
Due to the nature of their operations, it was clear they needed help. It was also clear that bringing someone in-house wasn’t necessarily going to solve the problem.

In 2015, founding owner Brian Killian created Turnkey DOT as a turnkey solution for event execution, harnessing his deep experience in marketing, logistics, and life on the road. With the acquisition of key team members, the company has benefited from rapid growth, and what started as a trucking company has evolved into a full-service event management and solutions partner – now known as Turnkey.
